A Royal Birthday and a Stamp Give Away!

It is always so exciting to see one of my stamp sets get released! This one was inspired by my birthday, and thinking of ways to lighten up how I was feeling about turning another year older. This set is called "Royal Birthday" and it has so many fun components that make it useful for many other "Royal" occasions as well!

Both of these images were stamped with Ranger's Big and Bossy in Black and then heat embossed with black detail embossing powder, I LOVE that look!

And speaking of Royalty, check out Paper Crafts Connection today, they have a blog post about Stamping Royalty. I was one of the gals who won a spot this year, and am very honored to be included with these talented stampers!

So to celebrate I am giving away "A Royal Birthday" set to one random winner! Leave me a comment by Friday at Midnight, about what you love/hate about your birthday. I will randomly select someone and send them this stamp set!

You Rule!

Gorgeous stamps! I love celebrating other peoples birthdays...I don't really think of mine as a special occasion.

i love the "don't believe the mirror" stamp. so clever.

i love that my birthday means I'm a year older, but i hate that it's not a big deal like it was as a kid. i would love to have a big themed party again, and maybe a sleepover with my closest friends afterward, like old times.

I really love that I continue to have birthdays each year; I just wish I didn't have to get older to do it! Your stamp set is awesome!! Love the humor and elegance of it!

What a luscious set of stamps! And your cards are beautiful. As to what I love or hate about my birthday . . . hmmmm. Well I love that I'm alive to celebrate with my family, but I hate being another year older. So I completely understand your reasoning around the creation of this stamp set!!! LOL

Congrats!!!! Your stamp set is fantastic. I totally love the "Royal pain" saying. LOL Too funny and yet so true too. I love getting presents, especially stamping stuff, but hate being reminded of turning another year older.

Becky - congratulations on your new stamp set - it's fantastic! I love birthdays! I think that we women make too much of the number, and not enough of the celebration of our lives! As I continue to tell my girlfriends - having birthdays sure beats the alternative! Have a great weekend!

Congrats on being one of the Stamping Royalty winners! I noticed that your name was amongst the winners! My birthday comes at such a nice time of the year...early May, when everything is so fresh, clean and new...I luv seeing all that comes with it...often my birthday falls on Mother's Day, which now, as a Mom, has twice of a special meaning for me....what I don't like about my birthday...don't laugh...I'm now at an age...where I second guess how old I am. I find myself "doing the math"...I don't know why I question myself...I'm even doing it now...so...I guess...I'm getting where I'm feeling a loss of my youth somehow...(I'm somewhere *wink* *wink* in my 40s.....) Love the new set!

Hi, Becky! Love your site, and your projects are fabulous! Just found you through Joanne's (Angelnorth) blog. I LOVE the "Royal Birthday" set--just ordered it myself, and can't wait to get it (maybe today.....!) I just flipped when I saw the sneak peek!

I love my birthdays--it's just my own day. I actually don't mind getting older...yet! I'm 47, and I think I feel better about myself now than I did when I was younger, so that's a plus! I don't know how I'll feel when I hit 50, though!

I'll be back often for more inspiration--thanks!

Love the stamps. I'm not so in love with celebrating my birthday anymore. I'd rather just pretend its just another day. Thanks for the chance.
